What you’ll be doing…
Verizon’s Global Contingent Workforce Solutions team is looking for a Project Manager to join the team as we continually look to evolve the Global Contingent Workforce Solutions Program and further integrate contingent worker management into Verizon’s overall Talent Acquisition strategy and operations. This opportunity is right for the person that has a passion for program/vendor management, a desire for strong collaboration, and a drive that pushes them to be a self-starter and process improver.
The Program Manager will oversee the daily operations and long-term strategic vision of the US-based Workforce Solutions Program (WSP), with primary focus on time and materials contractors. You will lead initiatives with the partnership of Verizon’s Managed Service Provider. This will include procedural enhancements to the procurement strategy of contract workers, engaging with stakeholders to customize processes to meet unique contingent labor needs, staffing agency management, policy review, and strengthening support of IT, AI/Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Creative, and Fleet labor categories. In this role, you will bring best practices and ensure our program is aligned to deliver on with Verizon’s Strategic Workforce Plan.
Program Management for a large contingent labor program in the Time and Materials contract labor space, including oversight and governance of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) relationship.
Define, analyze and assess MSP and supplier financial and operational performance data. Ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators in place are met and appropriate for driving continuous staffing supplier optimization.
Problem resolution, collaboration, and relationship building with stakeholders.
Manage Staffing Agency performance and compliance, negotiation for labor needs, and conduct QBRs to review service level agreement metrics.
Meet Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion goals of fostering diverse staffing agency growth and to strengthen diverse talent within contract labor categories.
End-to-end project management of large-scale contingent hiring initiatives for fast-paced specialized talent projects.
Collaborate with back-end team to streamline and automate VMS system.
Create, maintain, and update Global Contingent Worker policies and procedures. Ensure all parties are compliant with program policies and procedures.
Lead and manage integration of contingent labor programs via mergers & acquisitions.
Build and maintain relationships with internal business partner stakeholders (i.e., legal, accounting, supply chain, Talent Acquisition, HR, and IT).
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in the HR, staffing and/or contingent workforce.
Experience in program/project management.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience with a Managed Service Provider (MSP managing global contingent workforce program
Vendor Management System (VMS) / e-procurement system experience (i.e., SAP Fieldglass, Bee-Line, IQ-Navigator, etc.)
Experience managing large, complex projects involving multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while efficiently managing multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously.
Experience with process improvement.
Experience managing vendors and supplier relationships.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships as well as work collaboratively across departments and vendors.
Experience in evaluating data and trends into actionable insights that will support broader plan strategy.
Ability to survey the external marketplace and understand trends and opportunities outside of Verizon in order to help inform strategy.
Great interpersonal communication skills.
Experience with interpretation of polices and guidelines for end users.
Experience with Smartsheets and the Google Suite including Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $108,000 and $200,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
