Job Description : Montessori Seeds of Education is seeking an A.M.I Primary Guide for our quickly expanding school. The candidates for this position will be mindful, dependable, and professional, with a passion for working with children of this age group. Our warm work environment offers an enthusiastic and supportive staff, and we encourage collaboration among colleagues and the Head of School. The MSOE staff maintains a strong commitment to our school mission: “to create a mindful, collaborative, and authentic Montessori experience for families.”
Located in charming Merchantville, NJ, we are in walking distance to town and several beautiful parks. We are 8 miles from Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. The ideal Primary Guide will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education
A.M.I Montessori Certification
Two to three years of classroom experience (less experience will be considered)
A passion for working with the Primary age group
Dedicated to supporting the school’s mission
Ability to carry up to 30 lbs.
Ability to walk up and down stairs
Ability to easily sit on floor and move frequently around classroom
Willingness and ability to take walks with children
