We are seeking a dynamic, team-oriented and caring individual to join our spirited team.Essential Functions· Acts as a primary liaison with Lehigh Valley high schools and community colleges to nurture existing partnerships that grow education, training and employment opportunities for students· Educate students to the advantages of upskilling to enhance career path options that broaden workforce opportunities· Deliver career awareness and employability skills workshops in partnership with teachers and career counselors that reflect local employer goals and expectations· Counsel, motivate, and encourage students in advancing employment and training goals through engagement in PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley’s individualized career services programs· Serves as intermediary between student/teachers/guidance counselors and employers· Facilitate regular communication with appropriate staff to provide most recent workforce and employer information to the students· Deliver individualized career counseling, goal setting and customized career pathway planning· Assist job seekers in PA CareerLink® registration and enrollment· Identify and enroll eligible candidates into individualized expanded program activities· Understand various funding stream eligibility requirements and complete properly documented enrollment into specified program(s)· Maintain organized tracking of all student interactions by documenting contacts, prescribed activities, and referrals to PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley services, agency partners, and employers· Help to ensure that positive outcomes and goals are met as set forth in agreements with educational partnersRequired Experience: Education and Experience Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in education, business, organizational development, or an acceptable combination of education and experience· Two years of professional experience in the private sector, career counseling, or a related customer service capacity preferred· Bi-lingual skills or experience working with ESL populations a plus· Demonstrated work history reflecting flexibility and strong organizational skills· Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills· Must pass all school district clearances· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is requiredBring your expertise to EDSI where you will be able to live our values every day: show up, smile and support!Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Willingness to travel:50% (Preferred)Work Location: One location
