The time to meet your full potential is NOW and CarePoint is here to provide you with the tools to reach it.So, are you ready to join the mission?Position Summary: The Data Analyst Manager will complete extracts and analyses for CarePoint Health and present the findings and recommendations to the stakeholders.Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.1-2 years of experience analyzing very large data sets.Healthcare and medical data experience strongly preferred, including experience with medical codes, hospital payers, and government claims.Preferred Skills: Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Access and Excel.Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.Ability to learn new systems/tools as necessary.Experience with Tableau preferred.Strong database skills, which may include a solid grasp of Python and SQL data relationships and structures.Experience with large-scale relational databases, data transformation, and data queries.Ability to translate data findings into actionable recommendations and process improvements.Ability to teach and mentor junior members of the team in the development of technical and visualization skills.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: To be successful in this position, individuals must be able to meet and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Designs and executes data extraction methodologies in support of the organization’s strategic and business decision-making processes.Develops data visualization processes and methodologies.Provides management and oversight of team members, including training, development, and coaching.Develops and deploys periodic operational, financial, and clinical quality dashboard to internal partners.Develops code, data tables and reports to support internal custom analytics.Identifies data sources needed to produce required data sets or reports and extract appropriate subsets of data.Optimizes queries for performance.Identifies issues related to data, data sources, and data processing.Operationalizes data table maintenance for common data extraction requests.Develops and maintains data warehouse and infrastructure documentation and continuity plan.Reviews and documents data analysis methodology.Conducts analyses and confirms results.Works with executive stakeholders to prioritize organizational needs.Provides technical and visualization leadership to junior team members.Reviews work of team members for accuracy and learning opportunities.Documents quality assurance processes and any variations in findings.Documents and communicates findings and insights to business unit leaders, which may include physicians.Assists in the development of recommendations, communications, process improvements and other action items based on findings and insights.Writes SQL queries.Supports multiple kinds of data integrations, which may include API, OBDC, etc.Other duties as assigned.Benefits: CarePoint Health is committed to the wellbeing of our valued employees, offering a wide range of voluntary benefits such as:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityPaid Time OffHoliday PayRetirement PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramAbout CarePoint Health: Established in 1995, CarePoint Health is a multispecialty physician group headquartered in Denver, CO.
