Responsibilities:
Amy F. Loperfido & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm insurance companies, is seeking a legal administrative assistant to join our Philadelphia, PA. team. Candidates must be detail-oriented, adaptable, resourceful and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate should have one to two years of administrative experience in a professional office environment, to include: receptionist and phone operator duties using a multi-line system; scanning mail; scheduling and setting up meeting rooms; processing drafts and other payments; updating case files using case management software; and medical record organization.
Responsibilities
Works with moderate supervision on clearly defined tasks and priorities
Uses automation tools to accurately and efficiently update and maintain cases
Has strong command of grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreading skills to produce accurate and professional work products
Practices interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, to interact with team members, clients, customers, courts and vendors in a professional manner
Participates in in-house training to continue development and expand legal knowledge
Heavy scanning and mail processing
Substantial Data entry
Engages and responds to Excellence in Operations Management (EOM) dialogues and activities

Qualifications:
Type 50+ WPM
Possess legal environment/terminology experience
Maintain excellent organization, problem-solving, time-management and follow-through skills in a fast-paced team environment
Accuracy, detail-orientation, timeliness and strong technical and grammatical skills are a must
Strong experience with Microsoft applications- Word, Adobe, Excel
Legal Experience a plus
Bilingual a plus
