Job Description : The Pet Stop is a small animal veterinary clinic in Anchorage Alaska. We are busy 6 doctor practice looking for a receptionist to join our team. We are looking for a detail oriented individual who can multi task with ease, is exceptional when it comes to customer service and has a passion for animals. A positive and friendly attitude is a must. Our goal is to find someone who is interested in a long term career in veterinary medicine, has an eagerness to learn and take initiative, has a willingness to share ideas and who fits in well with our team. Veterinary or medical experience is preferred but not required. This position is fast paced which requires high productivity, efficiency and accuracy along with the ability to communicate well with clients and staff.Duties include, but are not limited to:Answering a busy multi lined phone systemMaking appointmentsTriaging calls and relaying messagesChecking clients in and outCleaning rooms and lobbyProcessing charges and paymentsMany clerical related and record keeping tasks.Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft, Word, and 10 key.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availabilityShift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
