Position : Center Manager – Park City

Job Description : SUMMARY
As a Center Manager, you will manage the Center’s daily, monthly and annual operations. Responsibilities will include interviewing Certified Personal Coaches, reviewing the performance of the Coaches, coaching individual lessons, marketing activities as required to ensure efficient and successful Center operations and taking an active role in merchandising golf equipment and game improvement products.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES
Interview and train Certified Personal Coaches in use and implementation of GOLFTEC’s coaching method.
Oversee performance of Coaches and Assistant Center Managers, including conducting performance appraisals and annual reviews and making recommendations to City Manager concerning employee discipline and promotion.
Establish shift hours.
Oversee budgets, revenues and expenses.
Track employee paid time off and ensure compliance with GOLFTEC policies.
Conduct monthly inventory.
Assist City Manager in analysis of Center performance and ensure efficient operation of the Center.
Attend monthly Manager Calls.
Conduct periodic employee meetings to communicate Center goals and foster a team environment.
Coach individual lessons, using professional judgment and expertise, and recommend appropriate improvement programs, presenting and negotiating plan rates and equipment to clients.
Maintain records on each lesson given utilizing GOLFTEC’s CaddyMaster system.
Market and promote the Center through local grass roots marketing efforts, community involvement, the PGA section and other appropriate means.
Participate in continuing education to enhance skills
Authorize refunds and attend to client concerns as necessary.
Supervise all Center opening and closing functions.
Maintain Center equipment in good working order.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in implementing and overseeing marketing efforts.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous teaching experience or related schooling required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (Preferred experience, skills)
Retail or corporate management experience preferred, including experience managing budgets and personnel.
Custom club fitting, sales and customer service experience preferred.
PGA/LPGA Member or Apprentice preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Essential functions of the job)
Ability to lift 30+ pounds occasionally
Ability to bend, kneel or crouch periodically
Keyboarding regularly
Ability to communicate verbally
