Position : Enrollment and Credentialing Specialist (Part-Time)
Job Description : (Part-Time)This is a part-time, permanent position, 20 hours per week.SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position is responsible for maintaining an active credentialed and in network status for all applicable service providers at Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center (ANHC). Duties include keeping track of providers that are due for recredentialing and submitting the necessary paperwork on time for a successful recredentialing process. Assists with gathering current reimbursement rates from insurance companies and creates ANHC fee schedule reports for analysis, when needed.WORK EXPERIENCE: One to two years’ experience in medical billing field which includes enrolling and credentialing providers for a medical practice. Experience working with FQHC is preferred.EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND LICENSURE: High school diploma, or the equivalent, and medical billing training. CPC, NCICS, CHCS or other AAPC certification may be substituted in addition to experience.ADDITIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Must be able to use a ten-key and balance large columns of numbers. Must be detail oriented and proof own work for accuracy. Must have and maintain an excellent attendance record. Must have good customer service and telephone skills. Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.HIRING RANGE: $18.32 – $22.89*LOCATION: *Anchorage, AKLAST UPDATED ON: March 4, 2022Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.32 – $22.89 per hour
