Position : RECRUITING SPECIALIST-REMOTE

Job Description : Primary Responsibilities: Meets with managers and reviews government contract documents to create job descriptions and requisitions used to recruit high performing staff.Drafts and posts effective and compliant recruitment notices for individual positionsIdentifies and communicates with candidates from resume databases to attract top applicants.Conducts phone and video screening interviews to verify security clearance status, educational and work qualifications.Coaches hiring managers on effective, compliant interview techniques, including providing tools for recording interview results.Ensures compliance with affirmative action requirements, recordkeeping requirements and other relevant employment laws.Schedules interviews with hiring managers, maximizing the experience and process for both managers and applicants.Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.Assists with employee on-boarding, visa processing, and the processing of security clearances.Measures and identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.Supports business development by identifying candidates for proposals and securing Letters of Commitment from them.Works swiftly and assertively to identify and secure incumbents when T and T is awarded contracts that were previously held by other government contractors.Identifies methods for streamlining and automating the recruiting and onboarding process.Sets up initial employee files in compliance with confidentiality and relevant laws.Answers frequently asked questions from applicants relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.Develops and maintains baseline knowledge of common technological certifications.Performs routine tasks required to support HR functions including benefits, compensation, new hire orientation, onboarding, employee relations, record keeping, and compliance.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills & Qualifications: 2 years’ experience with full life-cycle recruiting in a government contractor environmentBaseline experience with metrics related to recruiting effectivenessDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels of the organizationExperience with Microsoft Office productsDemonstrated organizational, time management, and written/verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Desired Skills & Qualifications: Experience recruiting for technical positionsExperience in a government contracting environment strongly preferredBaseline understanding of common technical certificationsBasic experience with clearances and visa preferredRequired Education/Experience: Associates degree or equivalent undergraduate educationTraining courses related to recruiting preferred*Benefits: * Competitive benefits package including: health, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, 401(k) Plan, Training Programs, Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays.*_Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled_*Job Type: Full-time
