Job Description : Summary/Objective
DMOs are responsible for ensuring that all dishes that come into the kitchen and which go out on the floor are cleaned to the excellence that the restaurant requires.

Staff Relations:
Treats all staff members with respect, this includes supporting and mentoring new staff members.
Gets along with all co-workers and works as a team during all aspects of service.
Maintains open lines of communication with management and all co-workers to problem solve and ensure smooth operations.
Is receptive to coaching from management. Responds with a positive attitude and a willingness to improve or modify behavior.
Willing and able to assist other DMOs to ensure smooth operations
Operations/Tasks:
Comes to work on time and ready to work. Uniform should be neat, clean and complete.
Ensure that the dish machine is operating at the correct temperature in all of its cycles
Ensure that the proper detergents and sanitizers are being used both in the correct quantities and for the correct tasks
Being aware of the information on the MSDS (material safety data sheets)
Ensuring that the dish bins are being emptied regularly and kitchen walkways are kept open and clean
Being able to keep up with the fast pace work environment of the restaurant.
Following the directions of the Lead DMO, MOD, and Kitchen Supervisor throughout your shift
Checking out with the MOD and Kitchen Supervisor before leaving for any breaks, as well as at the end of your shift
Complete all side work tasks as assigned by supervisors
Is able to recognize a difficult situation (i.e. problems with dish machine, backup of dishes) and communicate proactively and effectively with both the Back of House supervisor and Front of House supervisor.
Appears relaxed and calm, while moving with a sense of urgency.
Work Environment
Fast paced restaurant environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This may be a full time or part time position. Employees may be asked to work, standing and walking, in a fast paced environment for up to 9 hours in a shift.
