Job Description : SUMMARY:Our company is searching for a motivated and experienced customer service manager to lead our customer service department. Your goal will be to provide outstanding customer service to our clients by developing effective customer service procedures, improving call center practices, and setting customer satisfaction goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):· Supervise day-to-day operations in the customer service department· Support team in all duties: questions, guidance though difficult calls, diffusing angry customers, or handling issues that cannot be fielded by representatives· Create effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards· Assist management team members in identifying trends and establish call center goals· Develop customer satisfaction goals and coordinate with the team to meet them on a steady basis; take corrective action if needed· Hire and train new customer service representatives· Prepare reports and analyze call center data to improve processes, ensure resources are properly allocated, and maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction· Authorize replacements or refunds· Lead team meetings· Conduct customer meetings as needed· Take on other tasks or projects to support employees, other managers, and call center operationsQUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a customer service position with at least 12 months in a call center. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Good understanding of management practices and techniques. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. An Associated Degree in Business or Applied Communication is preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to communicate in English with correct grammar and vocabulary in oral and written form with employees and customers through telephone. Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution. Must be able to maintain clear diction and use business language. Strong coaching and leadership skills, ability to motivate employees. Polite, professional phone voice. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.PHYSICAL NEEDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently keys data to spreadsheets using a keyboard; data entry programs require constant movement among screens.
