Northrop Grumman Corporation is seeking a Financial Analyst to work in the Corporate Accounting department with a focus on benefits accounting. The financial analyst will report to the Corporate Manager of Benefits Accounting and will be responsible for the following accounting/reporting activities:
Assist with preparation of financial statement analytics and other management reports.Prepare monthly Intercompany Accounting Transfers.Prepare account reconciliations and research and resolve reconciling items.Prepare weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly wires and funding entries and the related analyticsAssist with preparation of quarterly pension & OPEB roll forward for external auditors, Corporate Financial Reporting and Tax.Assist in populating the Form 10-Q and 10-K footnote disclosures and the applicable MD&A language.Assist with preparation of year-end financial reporting packages and tax packages for corporate entities.Assist with SOX, DCAA and IRS audits.
Develop and maintain documentation to support statement of work.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and 3 years of relevant work experience; 1 year of relevant work experience with a master’s degree. Master’s degree or CPA may be traded for 2 years of experience. Master’s degree and a CPA may be traded to a total of 3 years of experience. Public Accounting IF directly relevant may count for up to an additional year of experience for each year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Public accounting firm experience.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively pursuing licensure.Prior experience with SAP and/or HFM.

Salary Range: $68,100 USD – $102,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
