Job Description : Immediate opening for full-time Medical Receptionist for a busy neurological office near LDS Hospital. 36-40 hours a week. Friendly and professional work environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients in a friendly, professional and prompt manner. Perform tasks of electronic scheduling, pre-authorizations and accurate relaying of patient messages. Gather patient and insurance information efficiently and accurately. Collect co-pay amounts from the patient at the time of service. Answer telephones, screen calls, take messages, and provide information to the appropriate source.QualificationsPrior medical office experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical records preferred. Ability to multi-task in a busy environment with attention to detail. General computer knowledge; including typing skills. Experience with business office equipment including credit card machines, fax machines, printers, etc. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish immediate patient rapport.
