Job Description : General Purpose of PositionThe PT Key Holder is a part of the store leadership team responsible for driving profitable sales through consistent execution every day with every customer. Associates in this position are generally considered as bench for a Supervisory position.Focus of PositionUnder the supervision of Store Leadership with merchandising & customer service responsibility, the PT Key Holder will assist in the day-to-day operations of the front end snf selling floor that drive profitable sales.This individual is involved in solving issues, making informed decisions and supervising the selling floor in order to achieve maximum results.Provide a positive customer experience by ensuring associates are friendly and the selling floor is clean and organized to promote ease of shopping.Leads by example by interacting with customers.This individual will work to coach, motivate and encourage teamwork among selling floor associates to ensure optimal execution of company strategies.ResponsibilitiesLeads a team of associates to markdown merchandise timely with responsibilities including weekly plan, assigning of responsibilities and monitoring of progress.As part of the leadership rotation, supervise all functions of the store while in the role of Manager on Duty. This includes leading cashier and receiving responsibilities, resolving customer situations, overall safety and security for all customers and associates.Participate in weekly Workload Planning Meetings and morning rallies.Instill high standards for the customer experience by coaching and supervising Selling Associates to ensure that the sales floor and fitting room standards are met consistently.Assist with interviews, selection, orientation and training of associates.Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time.SkillsAbility to supervise selling floor and front end operations efficiently and effectively.Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, associates and customers. Ability to motivate and energize a team to achieve goals through active coaching.Ability to plan, organize and adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.Able to resolve issues/concerns and coach in the moment.Ability to engage with customers in a positive manner including strong conflict resolution skills.Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.Requirements6+ months of Supervisory experience preferred but not required, within an Off-price, Big Box or a Specialty environment.Availability to meet minimum scheduling requirements as set forth by the company including working nights, weekends and holidays.Ability to actively engage for extended periods, move/handle/lift merchandise and performs all functions as set forth above.Job Type: Part-timePay: $90.00 – $99.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
