PURPOSE
Responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Community & Behavioral Services Department.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports To: Senior Director of Community & Behavioral Services
Supervises: Up to four FTE
Liaison To: Other departments in Tlingit & Haida
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain working knowledge of theories, principles, and program guidelines in the area of Behavioral Services
Analyze and interpret program guidelines, policies, and procedures and apply in situations or problems of moderate complexity with minimal supervision
Compile statistical data in a timely manner
Develop and maintain accurate and complete confidential records
Work with Sr. Director to ensure thorough and complete documentation of participant files within clinical documentation system
Monitor and process inquiries from potential participants received from a variety of sources, email, phone, and referrals
Prepare daily case staffing
Schedule participants with clinicians
Process participant paperwork
Process participant referrals
Complete appointment reminder phone calls to participants
Assist with logistics of various Community & Behavioral Services events and programs
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)
AA Degree in Business Administration or closely related field
Two years’ related experience
Two years supervisory experience
Valid Driver’s License; clean driving record
Substitution for degree
High school diploma and
Four years’ related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)
Experience in behavioral services
UNUSUAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OR RESTRICTIONS
The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting and is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying of items weighing less than 40 lbs. Travel on small aircraft or ferry may be required.
