D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Field Assistant – WA. The right candidate will oversee and detail homes for walk-throughs; perform general labor to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of homes and neighborhoods being built.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Complete all work in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures
Help in the presentation of homes for customersLoad and deliver materialsSet up and take down temporary structuresComplete job site cleanup daily by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuseConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtimeComplete any duties assigned by the foremanMove appliances and fixtures as needed
Assist specialized contractors as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and willingness to travel
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; climb, balance and stoop, crouch or crawl; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision
Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is generally loud

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work well within a team
Two or more years of experience preferred
Bilingual preferred
