Job Description : Are you someone who enjoys greeting people and are able to accurately read boarding passes and symbols in fine print both on paper and electronically on mobile devices? Do you believe strongly in courtesy, etiquette, and maintaining a clean, neat and professional appearance?
We are looking for someone who can stand or sit for extended periods and cordially and respectfully greet our valued guests even under busy conditions. This will involve verifying and working with those qualifying for and utilizing premium-level services through the TSA checkpoints at the airport.
Part-time and full-time work schedules with various shifts available beginning as early as 3:45AM and ending as late as 23:40.
If you want to work part-time in the early afternoon or in the early morning hours, from 11:30-16:30 or 3:45-8:45, respectively, those opportunities also exist for the right applicant!
As this is an airport, you must be willing to work nearly any day of the week including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $17.54 – $18.54 DOE
Benefits: Parking/Transit Reimbursement and Medical Insurance for Full-Time employees after Introductory Period
Position Type: Full-time, Part-time
Description Summary: Those in this position are to provide support to guests of the Premium Services and to be part of a team creating a positive and inviting experience for guests of the airport primarily through wayfinding services, crowd control, and queue management. Often those in this position will be one of the first points of contact for those out-bound on domestic and international flights. Secondary objectives include ensuring a safe workplace through adherence to standards and reporting of hazards and custodial needs, and the security of the airport environment, reporting any breaches or questionable activity/observations.
Work Locations, Environment, and Conditions: Designated Premium Lanes at the terminal checkpoints.
Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time up to the entire shift (excluding breaks) within a relatively limited area.
Ability to push/pull doors up to 20 pounds of force and operating via key for secured corridor access.
Travel: None expected.
Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Operation and skilled use of handheld devices such as two-way radios, cellular devices and tablets.
Fluency in the English language: speaking and listening
Minimum Qualifications:
Service-based orientation.
Self-directed and self-motivated, able to work long hours independently with little supervision.
Ability to maintain hygiene standards and wear and maintain an issued uniform, uniform components or company, contractor or stakeholder equipment.
Ability to work flexible schedules as the airport is a 24/7/365 operation.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with both individuals and large groups/crowds.
Additional Eligibility Requirements: Ability to acquire and maintain Port of Seattle and the TSA badge credentialing for work at the airport.
