Job Responsibilities
Design, Develop & integrate electronics and electrical mechanisms in the product.Verification & Validation planning & executionSystem level & Functional testing of product.Ensure quality and timeline of Electronics & Validation milestones & deliverables in the projectsFinalization & approval of Testing Matrix & Testing Reports.Supplier Management for development & TestingCross functional teams (CFT) co-ordination within Mercedes BenzMaintaining of Mechatronics Lab
Technical Skill Requirements
Actual Work Experience in automotive electronics & electrical systems (Preferably in Component Testing & Automotive Lighting)Knowledge of electrical & electronics influence on the component developmentKnowledge of Wiring Harness layout & designExperience in software testing for automotive application using Automotive Software Testing toolsExperience writing system level & functional level test cases for automotive application softwareKnowledge of electrical parameters and electronic control modulesProduct Functional Knowledge.Change Management (NCM/ACM).Supplier Interaction (Costing, Project Steering).Product Development & Release (MDS, Project Steering). ElectricalDocumentation (EC, EPDM, Duke, PIA etc.).
Additional Skills Requirements
LED & Optics knowledgeAutomotive Lighting RegulationsKnowledge of German Language (at least A2).
Tools
Vector tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, CANapeDaimler internal tools required for product development & release.Good to have: Python, CAPL programming
