Should be an expert in Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook as well.High energy and passionate helping to create a world-class organization rooted in Hawaii.Essential FunctionsDefine and analyze problems and identify root causes. To set challenging and productive goals; prioritizing tasks, accepting responsibility, and overcoming obstacles.Use hotel software systems as well as external sources to identify, generate, gather, verify, review, research, analyze, comprehend, interpret, and report on key performance indicators and financial information.Analyze variances and data trends and prepare reports, charts and other outputs as required. To convert information into insightful findings and actionable recommendations to optimize existing and future operations across the company.Collect, analyze and distribute cost and schedule variance metrics for reporting. Conduct studies of project lead time, competitive bids and pricing. Compiles information from Project Managers to send out the RFP, consolidates quotations / scope of works, disqualifies vendors, organizes data and sends to PM for recommendation.Research opportunities to streamline company reporting and identify efficiencies in current procedures.Synthesize guest data (including reviews, stay data & more) to create a clear picture for upper management to make informed decisions. Improve processes through data analysis.Assist with other functions as needed, including HR, Accounting & more.
