Job Description : Summary/Objective
Duties are to take guest orders, make and serve beverages, accept payments, and keep the espresso machine area clean and organized. Baristas are to provide exemplary customer service at all times. They will also be expected to prepare and serve food items as needed.
Operations
Comes to work on time and ready to work. Uniform should be neat, clean and complete.
Works with other staff to ensure their area is clean and organized at all times. Is constantly pre-bussing, picking up trash from the floor, straightening tables and chairs, etc. as needed. Completes all opening & closing sidework.
Is timely in all aspects of service; the greeting, beverage orders and delivery.
Knows all point-of-sale functions and can navigate quickly and efficiently on screen.
Accurately executes all sales transactions and consistently utilizes restaurant accounting systems.
Follows all drink recipes consistently.
Consistently displays mastery of coffee and espresso knowledge and technique.
Ensures all beverages are presented properly before delivering to the guests.
Demonstrates in depth knowledge of all menu items
Assists in preparation and service of food items.
