About this role
This is a role in BT’s Privileged Access Management security team. The core purpose of this team is to protect BT from Cyber security threats, both internal and external and we take this responsibility very seriously. We run and manage security platforms and controls across the whole of BT and EE. We protect privileged credentials and manage administrator access to most of BT’s estate. To do that, we work with market leading technologies (CyberArk) in a fast-evolving security landscape.

You’ll have the following responsibilities
You will join a security team as a Cyber Ark Security Engineer. You will become a member of the Engineering team of BT’s CyberArk-based security platforms. These platforms manage and control privileged credentials and access across BT’s IT and Networks estate and are based on CyberArk’s PAS technology. And you will help to run them and support their expansion to new domains and users, in the UK and the rest of the world.
You will work in security integration projects and own and deliver technical installation, configuration and engineering tasks. You will write scripts and code new integration functions (C#, WebServices).
You will provide 3rd Line support to the CyberArk Security Platforms, ensuring KPI’s and SLAs are met. You will own the resolution of incidents/problems impacting the platform’s ability to serve its customers. And will ensure operational procedures are maintained and followed
You will provide input to project delivery plans and cost/effort estimates for your own specific deliverables.
You will build and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the existing security platforms and their technical interfaces, as well as the key use cases they currently support.
You’ll have the following skills & experience
We would like to see these in your CV
CyberArk PAS Suite knowledge and hands on experience (EPV, PVWA, CPM Policies, PSM Connectors, AIM)
Scripting and programming skills (PowerShell, C#, Webservices) – Cloud skills a significant plus
Windows Server Skills
IAM domain knowledge a plus.
