Job Description : Human Resource GeneralistLSG SKY CHEFS is the global leader in airline catering and the management of all in-flight service related processes.Role Purpose Statement: Assists in the administration and management of Human Resources policies and procedures and the Master National Agreement; ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws; handles employee relations issues for CSC (customer service center) employees. Key resource to deliver all facets of recruiting success through the CSC’s in the region by ensuring we maintain strong branding in our markets driving solid applicant flow.Human Resources GeneralistSupport the implementation of Human Resources (HR) policies and programs for union and non-union employees in Customer Service Center (CSC).Oversee Payroll process and timekeeping of hoursAdminister HR policies and procedures including employee benefits, wage increases, retirement, etc.Facilitate On-Boarding of New Hire employeesAct as first line liaison with union employees, facilitating resolution of employee concernsAssist in the administration of Master National Agreement (MNA) grievance proceduresAssist with company pre-employment and random drug testing programsSupport auditing of clerical activities for accuracy and adherence to standardsAssist in planning and rollout of employee engagement activitiesAssist with miscellaneous HR functions as assignedSupport Safety and Worker Compensation processes within the Customer Service Center (CSC)RecruitmentLead recruitment and select quality candidates to staff all positions within CSCIdentify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniquesDevelop talent pipelines for future hiring needsInteract with potential candidates on social media and professional networks Craft and send recruiting emails.Coordinate with department managers to determine position requirementsAsk for referrals from current employees and external networksMaintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)Knowledge, Skills and Experience for HR & RecruiterBachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field preferred, or equivalent experience requiredIn addition, one to four years of HR experienceStrong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skillsAble to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization both oral and writtenPractical knowledge of federal and state employment laws and their applicability in the workplace.Team-oriented individual with strong leadership abilityPHR or SPHR preferredProven work experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role.Hands-on experience with sourcing techniquesAbility to positively present or company and open roles to potential candidatesEffective time management abilitiesBenefitsFlight benefits with a major airlineFree Lunch/ParkingImmediate medical, dental, and visionParticipate in the company’s 401kLife Insurance Benefits (Basic and Supplemental)Accidental Death & Dismemberment InsuranceDisability Benefits (Short-Term and Long-Term)Employee Assistance ProgramBecome a part of our Team!
