ABOUT THE ROLE
Our merchandising and planning team is looking for someone to help take our brands to the next level. We are searching for someone that can use data to inform decisions and understand the puzzle that is Merchandise Planning.
As the Merchandise Planner, you will create and maintain product plans as well as update forecasts to measure success within the business. You will be responsible for tracking key metrics to support the point of view that you have for the current in-season business as well as the impact to the pre-season business. The Planner will also collaborate with key stakeholders such as Merchandising, Allocations, Logistics and Operations to then execute the needs of the business.
We are looking for a candidate that has a positive mindset that can be proactive and can anticipate obstacles within the business. This role has the unique opportunity to own the North America business, as well as gain international experience with work in partnership with other markets. The work-life will be based on a hybrid schedule where the office is based in Louisville, Colorado. This role will report to the Director of Planning and is looking to be filled as soon as possible in 2022.
The hiring range for this position is $60k to $80k annually.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Create Omni-Channel plans and forecasts to support strategic initiatives for the region and brands.
Collaborate with merchandising and allocation team to determine the flow of inventory to align with the brand strategy.
Give a point of view during the assortment building process by using data at multiple product levels to inform the Merchant and Allocation teams.
Analyze product lifecycles and determine disposition based on inventory, skus, and distribution.
Responsible for creating and maintaining financial plans for both pre-season and in-season.
Use key metrics and reports to assess risks and opportunities with forecast accuracy, sell-thru, inventory stock levels, sales trends and margin rates.
Communicate with cross functional partners to align on inventory investments to maximize sales.

WHO YOU ARE
Needs 3 years of experience within Merchandising or Planning in Retail
Passionate about the outdoors and has authentic enthusiasm towards the Brands at Fenix Outdoor
Has the ability to drive performance
Analytical mindset
Strong communication skills in a team structure
Experience in Inventory Management
Can multi-task and prioritize responsibilities to meet key deadlines
Demonstrates a strong aptitude of the Microsoft suite of products
