Job Description : About the role
Uber is seeking a skilled Web Ops Associate to facilitate the production of high-quality web experiences, handling global initiatives from initial request through launch. This role will be placed on our ‘Enablement & Strategy’ team within the Web Ops organization. This role demands project management skills, technical proficiency, well-honed judgment, with a keen eye for detail.
In this role, you’ll be the day to day counterpart to our marketing teams and the face of all things uber.com; intaking, triaging and prioritizing requests and tasks as they are submitted in collaboration with the entire web Ops team. You are super knowledgable project management, including scheduling, resource planning, dependency alignment, risk management and stakeholder communication. In addition, you’ll be an authority in our publishing systems, ensuring launch plans are implemented efficiently.
Overall, you are responsible for coordinating the day to day development lifecycle and ensuring projects are shipped out on time and with quality. You will also heavily contribute to educational documentation and participate in organizational training to ensure regional teams are equipped with everything needed to produce high-quality web campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Work cross-functionally to capture content requirements for product launches and initiatives, prioritizing page builds and improvements based on business impact
Manage the end-to-end execution of sophisticated, high-impact web initiatives, working closely with stakeholders on product, operations, marketing, engineering and creative teams
Supervise content across its lifecycle, optimize top performing content, and provide recommendations that help improve web content strategy at Uber
Operationalize web content strategy and support content owners in development of strategy and execution of global and regional web initiatives
Responsible for delivering quality output for local markets and that all content is relevant and compliant
You’ll play a key role in planning sessions and provide input into team roadmap
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of experience working on web technologies and practices with a focus on large consumer websites
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with engineering and development process; experience leading technical scope, requirements detailing, and prioritization
Experience working in different content management systems
Experience analyzing web traffic, engagement and UX data to make strategic recommendations
Crystal clear communication skills, and the ability to communicate sophisticated topics in succinct partner emails + documentation
Roll up your sleeves mentality and a desire to dig into what’s “under the hood”
Ability to make reasoned decisions with imperfect or ambiguous information
Ability to run details across multiple projects
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
