Position : Whale Watching Captain
Job Description : Our whale watching captains operates 12 – 49 passenger vessels that range from 30 – 50 feet in length. The whale tours are 3 hours in duration. Captain is responsible for the safe operation of these tours while providing a fun and memorable experience for our guests.Must be able to work with a deckhand, and maintain a clean and organized vessel with gear and other equipment.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hourSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:Applicant must advise of vaccination status. All guests and team members are required to wear a mask when on vehicles or inside boat cabins on any non-private tours. Our team is responsible for sanitizing common surfaces regularly.Experience:operating in Juneau Area: 1 year (Preferred)Whale Watching: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:twenty-five ton masters inland license or greater (Required)Work Location: One location
