Recognized as one of the best and fastest companies to work for and recently joined forces with KBS in Oceanside, CA.Job DescriptionThe HR Coordinator will work closely with the HR Team to carry out corporate wide HR services via various programs, initiatives and procedures for all employees. Works on special projects, maintains employee records, facilitates medical and background screening process and logs, coordinates functions associated union compliance in accordance with respective Collective Bargaining Agreements.Job ResponsibilitiesHandles employee requests, inquires and/or issues.Assists or prepares correspondence.Manages compliance of new or updated information into HRIS.Maintains HRIS and employee updates in accordance with P&P’s and designated CBAs.Maintains employee files and employment records.Ensures compliance of all on-boarding and off-boarding processes.Ensures compliance with employee status changes, handles data entry and file maintenance.Audits employee files and I-9s to ensure compliance to state and federal regulations.Participates in recruitment efforts including job posting, submitting job ads.Conducts reference checks and background checks as needed.Conducts New Employee Orientations.Prepares/ Maintains HR P&P Toolkits for new managers and supervisors.Assists with benefit enrollment for qualified full-time employees / maintains files/ provide support as needed.Ensures that all appropriate approvals are obtained on forms, applications, I-9’s, etc.Assists HR Team with special projects.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.CompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.Problem solving- ability to identify & resolves problems in a timely manner / analyzes information skillfullyInterpersonal Skills—the individual maintains confidentiality, works well with others, no office gossiping.Oral communication— speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.Written Communication— edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and checks work to ensure quality.Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a fast-paced environment.Dependability—the individual is dependable and arrives to work on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction.Safety and security—the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.Minimum QualificationsThree or more years experience in the HR field, OR any similar combination of education and experienceJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Bridgewater, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
