Job Description : Position: Supply Chain CoordinatorLocation: Scottsdale, AZDuration: Full-time, Direct-hireCompensation: $60k-80k DOESummary: Our client is looking for a reliable, eager Supply Chain Coordinator to join their amazing team! In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the flow of goods from the point of origin to point of consumption.Responsibilities: Collaborate with Director of Supply Chain and Sales Executives for the most cost-effective logistics and supply chain solutionsNegotiate transportation rates and services to improve supply chain efficiency and sustainabilityMonitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirementTrack and trace all shipments to provide daily updates to Operations departmentDevelop and maintain relationships with logistics and warehouse vendorsBook inbound shipments, enter purchase orders, and track status through to delivery. Update ERP system and/or reports at each stepProactively communicate with internal departments regarding status and issuesQualifications: 2+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Purchasing OR Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related fieldEffective, concise communication in person, on the phone, and in writingAbility to organize, plan, prioritize and execute on multiple tasks under dynamic time constraintsStrong attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Word, and Excel.Experience in the steel or metal industry or service center industry preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you have any steel/metal industry experience?
