Position : BHO /CO2 Extraction Technician (Cannabis Concentrates)
Job Description : One of Washington’s first legal cannabis extraction facilities is seeking a Laboratory Extraction Technician to join our team of passionate cannabis enthusiasts. As an expanding organization we are in need of reliable, dedicated team members who are goal-driven and exemplify strong work ethic.
Currently operating CO2 and SPD processes with a BHO operation under construction.
JOB FUNCTIONS.
Accurate sorting, weighing, mixing, prepping, grinding, and recording and otherwise preparing machine input materials.
Detailed cleaning, packing, and maintenance of large pieces of laboratory equipment.
Maintaining detailed sets of parameters during super-critical CO2, short path distillation, and B/PHO extraction processes on multiple pieces of equipment, often simultaneously.
Extracting, collecting, grading and post-processing of cannabis concentrate output material.
Collaborating with other laboratory and production facility team members to meet changing business needs.
Adhering to strict safety protocols include use of appropriate PPE.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and execute detailed standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Basic computer literacy including use of MS Word & Excel.
This is a lead position for someone who (Preferably) has prior experience in 502. They will help with planning production runs, doing administrative work, and acting as a leader towards the other members of the lab team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Use of hands and fingers to do tasks that require a mixture of both fine and gross motor skills.
Bending, crouching, kneeling to accomplish certain tasks near the ground.
Occasional prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Exposure to elements of outdoors including plant material.
Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
JOB DETAILS
Full Time (40 hr/wk) Monday – Friday
All employees subject to a 90-day introductory period.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 – $48,000.00 per year
