Position : Vehicle Dispatcher
Job Description : Hours per day: 11.5 or as assigned
Rotation: 3×3 or as assigned
Purpose of Position:
Primarily responsible for managing and coordinating all light duty vehicles. Assist users of light vehicles with their short and long term needs. Manage the vehicle pool reservation system. In addition to monitoring and assigning light trucks, create and manage fuel chip keys.
Educational Requirements:
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience and Background:
Must have exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to make quick and critical decisions while managing multiple sources of incoming and outgoing information using a radio, phone and computer simultaneously.
Must have knowledge/experience with basic computer skills. Advanced Excel experience is required.
Must have ability to communicate clearly and effectively both oral and written.
Certificates, Licenses and Requirements:
Valid CDL.
NSTC required – must present current card
Rotational schedule of at least 11.5 hours per day for a minimum of 21 days consecutively as required.
Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis, routine walking, standing and bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services, as well as urban community services.
Must pass pre-hire drug test, breath-alcohol test, occupational fitness test, computer-based testing and background check.
Commitment to proactive, positive, and sustainable HSE culture.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Job duties to include but not limited to:
Observe and adhere to all job safety standards and regulations.
Coordinate third party pickup rentals.
Client owned pool units oversight.
Monitor light vehicle fleet usage.
Vehicle accident administration.
Fuel key administration.
Receive requests for light duty vehicles from user groups, communicating through Harmony radio, email and telephone.
Run weekly unit-owned utilization reports and distribute it to management.
Coordinate light duty vehicle releases.
Work with various client-owned software programs.
Work daily in Vehicle Pool Reservation (VPR).
Notify Dispatch Support on creation of ERNs and the releasing of all equipment.
Position is staffed day shift, 365 days a year.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
