Job Description : Georgia Families in Transition is looking for individuals to join our Assessment Team!The Assessor position is focused on conducting initial biopsychosocial assessments for clients seeking to receive CORE or IFI (Medicaid) services in the community. This role requires familiarity with or strong passion to learn the following:Biopsychosocial AssessmentsCANS/ANSASafety PlanningCSSRS (Columbia Suicide Scale)Treatment PlanningVanderbilt ADHD Scale (as applicable with clients receiving a provisional or verified ADHD diagnosis)General ExpectationsWithin 48 hours of assessment, assessment/initial authorization information/BIRP notes submission requiredWithin 7 days of assessment, all remaining components of the assessment package must be submittedRequested corrections must be submitted within 24 hours of requestPositive, team-oriented attitudeTimeliness and accuracy in documentation submissionRequirementsMinimum of a Master’s degree in a psychology/social work-related disciplineFully licensed LPC, LCSW, LMFT preferred, but not requiredPast experience with Sharenote preferred, but not requiredMust be able to pass DBHDD background check (required prior to providing any services to clients)State-mandated training: Relias, CPR/First Aid, CPI, CANS/ANSA (must be completed within the first 30 days of hire)Analytical/detail-orientedKnowledge of Medicaid/CMO compliance requirements preferredDemonstrable knowledge of DSM-5 diagnosis criteriaWillingness to learn new documentation and clinical skillsReceptivity to feedback/constructive criticismIndividuals who are prompt in communication, have collaborative personalities, and demonstrate a passion and knowledge for assessment will be considered. While experience is a major component of what we are looking for, we are willing to train a limited number of recent Master’s level graduates that demonstrate the right personality fit and desire to learn this clinical area of expertise. Pay scale is based on education, licensure level, clinical writing skills, and experience.*Must live in the Atlanta area to be considered. Work is nearly always remote, but occasional face-to-face appointments may be needed based on client needs.*Full-time preferred, but willing to consider part-time candidates.(Georgia – Atlanta Metropolitan Area)Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:Telehealth assessments are conducted via Zoom presently due to the pandemic.Education:Master’s (Required)Experience:Behavioral health: 2 years (Required)assessment: 1 year (Preferred)Language:English (Required)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)LPC or LCSW (Preferred)Work Location: One location
