Job Description : ACCOUNTING CLERKWe are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. A successful Accounting Clerk will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.Responsibilities: Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting departmentType accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and recordsReconcile accounts in a timely mannerResearch, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepanciesFunction in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable lawsReconcile invoices and identify discrepanciesEnter financial transactions into internal databasesCheck spreadsheets for accuracyMaintain digital and physical financial records.Other duties as assigned by the Ultimacare SupervisorSkills: Work experience as an Accounting ClerkKnowledge of basic bookkeeping proceduresFamiliarity with finance regulationsGood math skills and the ability to spot numerical errorsHands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)Organizational skillsAbility to handle sensitive, confidential informationHigh school degreeAssociate’s degree or relevant certification is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: From $1,700.00 per monthBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Hilo, HI 96720: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
