Business Development Primary objective is to ensure that the allocated area is delivering the business objectives and sights a growth Distribution is key to any business.
ensure widening of distribution of both internal and external channels.
Add more alternate channels as well as DSAs for sourcing in addition to branches Work towards increase of market share which is part of banks objective Work closely with team to ensure Fullfillment branches attain the required business to make business profitable Closely work with branches for planning the milestone to achieve the business objectives Profitable business Product involves huge overhead cost for processing of the loans and hence profitability has to be key objective along with business development Critical to ensure all the Fullfillment branches are profitable Activate all the lead generating branches to ensure enough business to negate the cost involved in operating a processing centre Maintain the yield and the income level as per the benchmark provided by product team which would address the portfolio profitability Buffering additional income by cross sell or internal or thru third party products Visibility and Marketing activities Work closely with sales manager to ensure the branches and catchments are carrying out enough marketing activities to enhance visibility Rationalise on non value added activities and judicial allocation of marketing budget across the sales manager Work towards creating cutting edge with competition and getting incremental market share Work along with product team for tailor made /regional /segment specific campaigns which would boost the business strategically Team Management Productivity of the team is key driver to achieve the required business targets Timely updates to team for improving/ enhancing productivity to meet targets Ensure every team member is motivated and looks forward for contributing towards success of the business Plan and execute team exit and hiring to ensure the BAU is not affected Work towards professional growth of every team member since this would create a healthy atmosphere and harmony within the team members House Keeping and Compliance Ensure all the branch meetings are recorded in cogent by the team and the same is reviewed by ASM as per the sales management process Deferrals to be cleared within the stipulated Customer meeting as per the sales process should be updated in customer service interaction platform Lead management is critical and auditable .
Need to ensure that the team manages the leads with nil dilution in conversion.
