Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Program Manager, Integrated Product Team (IPT), Military Aircraft Systems Division, B-2 Tailpipe to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Redondo Beach, California.
This position is responsible for the technical and Programmatic Management for Operations, Sustainment and New Production Awards. Responsible for management of cost, schedule and technical statement of work for delivery of B-2 propulsion subassembly new production, operations and sustainment. Responsible for future program growth and site expansion.
Duties include:
Profit and Loss responsibility for program.
Manufacture and delivery of critical sub-assemblies to the US Government on time and within budget. Establishment and management of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) among multiple suppliers and deliveries. High level of organization required.
Management of integrated product team including manufacturing team, multidisciplinary technical team, and business team. Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
Manage customer relations, both internal and external, for current contracts and to cultivate future awards. High level of risk development and management and communication required.
Manage new facility build for expanded production capability in support of pending contract awards.
Basic Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years applicable experience or 5+ years applicable experience
Prior Project and/or Program Management experience
Must have an active (in-scope) DoD Secret Clearance with a last investigation / re-investigation within the past 5 years
The ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
Preferred Qualifications
STEM degree
Special Program Access
Master’s degree from an accredited university
Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Strategy

Salary Range: $143,500 USD – $215,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
