Job Description : As the Budtender Educator for Dreamfields Brands, you will be responsible for providing our budtenders with an exceptional educational experience and provide insight when a budtender needs more information on the brand. The Educator will work directly under direction of The Dean to oversee the team of Brand Ambassadors at all local education trainings. Additionally, providing support to the sales and marketing team by reporting budtender data collected at each educational training from the dispensaries is a pivotal piece of this role.Below is a list of responsibilities and expectations that are directly related to the success of this role.1. Check Regional Spreadsheets Dailya. Be primary liaison with Dreamfields Sales rep and dispensaries to communicate education scheduling.b. Work hand in hand with Sales Rep and shop to determine the amount of budtenders to be trained.c. Once a plan is confirmed, update the spreadsheet with the Brand Ambassador assisting, training date and update the Jeeter University google/asana calendars.d. Confirm with the Sales Rep the goals they want to achieve from the education.2. Work with the Marketing Liaison for samples to provide support for Jeeter University Budtender Education Eventsa. Check the Jeeter University Budtender Education Calendar to ensure samples are placed at least 2 weeks in advance.b. Verify orders are properly entered per metric guidelines per shop.c. Confirm the Jeeter University Budtender Education labels are clearly displayed.d. If necessary, provide Budtender names for the sample labels.e. Partner with Marketing Liaison to ensure that all orders have been scheduled and are set to be delivered 2-3 days prior to the scheduled event.f. Confirm with the shop Inventory Manager that samples have been received and set aside for education training.3. Work with The Dean on education presentation and execution.a. Confirm the products carried at the dispensary receiving education.b. Ensure current training materials are prepared for the training.c. Partner with the dispensary on allotted time for training including if there will be multiple groups.d. Work with a timer ensuring each sku presentation is timeboxed.e. Test all digital assets prior to training: slides, videos, etc.f. Confirm with Brand Ambassador all merchandise is ready for the training event.g. Confirm with Brand Ambassador food is scheduled for pick-up/delivery for event or arrange it.h. Collect Budtender data and follow up with event feedback form.4. Create a Centralized Database for Shop Educationsa. Ensure visibility for account standings so only shops in relevant tier standing receive associated merchandise.b. Sample and merchandise tracking per shop.c. Ensure boutique drops are distributed on Jeeter U Instagram per Marketing guidelines.d. Account Manager samples tracking per shop per metric guidelines.5. This position will be the liaison between The Dean, Sales and Marketinga. Timely and effective communication is essential as there are multiple moving parts at all times.b. Inclusion of the correct team members will be stressed to ensure each step of the process is completed correctly.c. Issues resolved quickly and efficiently through both communication and problem solving skills. Creativity is a must.6. Record Retentiona. Keep records of dispensary educations and provide feedback directly to the The Dean and Marketing Team.b. Keep track of last minute budtender educations and work with the team to ensure they are scheduled in a timely manner.c. Verify correct quantities of samples are being sent to education events. In doing this, ensure products are indeed being used at events through collaboration with sales and marketing.Provide evaluation of retailers/events that are truly beneficial and ones that are not. Working well as a collaborative team member is imperative to success in the role, as is the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment where systems and processes are still being developed and maturing.
