Job Summary:
The Business Development Strategist, reporting directly to the CEO, focuses on developing new lines of business and optimizing existing business models across the organization. The incumbent actively participates in organization wide strategic planning and creates a sense of urgency in the organization for improving patient, physician and employee satisfaction. The Business Development Strategist provides ongoing guidance to optimize service models, maximize revenue generation, and consistently meet performance goals with emphasis on financial and operational optimization.
Additional duties include, streamlining processes to eliminate non-value-added bureaucracy and taking an active role in ensuring that financial indicators meet established targets, delivery of strong business and analytical management of BRH business processes across organization, ensuring our business cases are met from both a financial and an operational perspective, and maintaining working relationships with various levels of leadership within Bartlett Regional Hospital including senior leaders, department directors, as well as leaders in Finance, Human Resources, Facilities and external vendors and contractors.
Evaluating real estate purchases or lease opportunities and serving as the primary point of contact for tenants in hospital owned buildings will also be performed by the incumbent of this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Industrial Engineering is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
Experience: Six (6) years of experience with responsibility in finance, business administration or operational business management. Two (2) years of experience working in a health care field is preferred.
