Job Description : LIFELONG LEARNING ADMINISTRATION CORPORATION$20 hourly40 hours per week, Monday – FridayThe Communications Assistant will contribute to the design, development, and dissemination of high-quality content, ensure style and branding compliance, and support client website and social media platforms. This position will support strategies that increase brand visibility to diverse audiences, expand digital information sharing capacity and strengthening internal communication systems. Responsibilities include project coordination, monthly reporting, media monitoring, media database management, newsletter development, and update company data sheets that are used across all audiences.Responsibilities/Duties: This list is illustrative only and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of tasks performed by this classification. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Essential Functions: Support Department goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics across its internal and external channelsAssist management with the final layout and distribution of newsletters with performance reportingDistribute content including press releases using subscription platformsResearch and maintain media databases using our subscription platformsTrack the development and compilation of content, coverage, and materials according to deadlinesDevelop monthly reports of Public Relations activity using monitoring subscription platformsLiaise with graphic designers and other vendors to develop and produce materialsPartner with the Marketing team to ensure branding and style compliance, and represent Communication Team policies and guidelines across all materialsUpdate PowerPoint presentationsRegularly update the conference, award, national holiday, and Communications status sheetsDevelop appropriate award nominationsSupport the Communications Team in maintaining a collection of photos, graphics, icons, infographics, and video clips to use in various digital contentMaintain digital database and support the physical library of communications tools and resourcesExpand digital dissemination for information sharing such as websites, webinars, social media, videos, data visualizations, infographics, emails lists, etc.Participate in weekly status calls and team meetingsAdministrative duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to timeMinimum Physical Requirements: Mental Demands: high workflow management, high project coordination, high people engagementFinger Dexterity: using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers togetherTalking: especially where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quicklyAverage Hearing: able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary informationAverage Visual Abilities: ordinary acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate machineryPhysical Strength: sedentary work.
