Job Description : JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Ø Model the Vision or expectationsØ Screening, Assessment, Intake, Orientation, Client Education: The process by which presenting substance abuse, co-occurring mental health and associated diagnosis are identified. Includes initial and ongoing assessment. Identification of client strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences. Involves engagement and education regarding the nature and goals of Allegiance.Ø Treatment Planning: The process by which the counselor and the client identify and rank problems, establish agreed upon goals and decide upon treatment methods and resources to be used.Ø Counseling: The utilization of special skills and approaches to assist individuals, families and groups in achieving agreed upon goals and objectives.Ø Case Management, Referral, Consultation: Bringing resources and people together within a planned framework of action to achieve established goals. Identifying the needs of the client that cannot be met by the counselor/agency, coordinating after-care services, assisting client in utilizing support systems and community resources. Relating with professionals regarding client treatment/services.Ø Crisis Intervention: The ability to respond to the client’s needs during times of acute distress.Ø Report and Record Keeping: Charting the results of the assessment and treatment planning process, documenting within DDAP charts (individual notes, group notes, general progress notes, family notes, initial treatment plan, treatment plan update, discharge summary, after-care, follow-ups).Job Type: Full-timePay: $8.00 – $39.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMedical Specialty:Addiction MedicineSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Work Location: One location
