Your day
As the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) Director, you will oversee the team to ensure clinical, operational, and strategic programs and projects meet SCL Health’s organizational goals and strategic priorities. This leadership role develops and implements EPMO processes and policies, oversees EPMO project and program managers and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and manage projects and programs. The Director plays a critical role in establishing SCL Health’s approach to the full project life cycle, including project initiation, planning, resourcing, execution, monitoring, control and completion.
In this role you need to know how to:
Oversee and be actively involved in the development, support, and improvement of the following areas within the Enterprise PMO: Leadership of a diverse team of project and program managers, All PMO operations, projects and programs, Project management process and methodologies, PMO standards of practice, Program management models and tools, Project and Portfolio Management governance, Project resourcing and capacity planning, Project tracking and monitoring, Project prioritization methodologies.
Participate in the project prioritization process to provide executive leaders with the information needed to assess project requests and business plans which have the highest potential value and strategic alignment.
Responsible for leading process improvement work to advance the work and overall performance of the department.
Oversee the delegation of work with EPMO project and program managers, as well as additional resources in support of the EPMO function.
Provide ongoing direction, coaching, guidance and mentoring for associates to help ensure the success of the team and the EMPO overall.
Accountable for developing a high performing department to effectively manage programs and projects spanning clinical, operational and technical areas of focus.
Accountable for developing and tracking department success metrics.
Accountable for developing associate engagement programs and action plans in support of SCL’s overall associate engagement goals.
Ensure the EMPO meets performance targets that are aligned with the organization’s strategic imperatives.
Your experience

Bachelor’s level degree is required, preferably in a health-related field, required
Master’s level degree, preferred
Ten (10) years of work experience in the field is required, including at least five (5) years of previous supervisory or management level experience, required
Previous work experience at the director level, preferred
