Position is a Senior Management, appointed position and is classified as FLSA overtime exempt. Requires a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and a Bachelor’s _Degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Business Administration or other related advanced degree pertaining to a relevant field is required. Hourly requirements could exceed 40 hours. Management Grade 8-14. Annual salary range: $106,802 – $120,259 DOE. The successful applicant must be able to start no later than 5/23/2022. Currently this position supervises 6 water/sewer employees, 3 Public Works employees, and Building Inspectors.Strong collaborative skills in working with diverse people to ensure sensitive and equitable treatment of all citizens.Revised 17 March 2022Takes appropriate action in response to employee grievances and/or disciplinary actions according to the City’s personnel policy.Works with department personnel to establish goals and objectives for the department or for specific programsCOMMUNITY / NETWORKING Networking Frequently works with community residents or businesses, elected officials or other community groups on various issues for internal and external matters media or press on various issues related to utility operations.
