Job Description : We are looking for a reliable and experienced Dispatcher. You will receive requests, transmit pickup/delivery messages to drivers and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in a fast pace environment. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.ResponsibilitiesAddress problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutionsReceive and dispatch orders for pickups or deliveriesPrioritize calls according to urgency and importanceUse radio, phone or computer to send drivers to appropriate locationsMonitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their scheduleProvide customers with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirementsEnter data in computer systemSkillsProven experience as dispatcher or relevant positionFast typing with experience in data entryKnowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situationsGood communication skills (bilingual preferred but not required)Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilitiesActive listener with excellent communication skillsSound judgement and critical thinkingHigh school diplomaJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Office is cleaned daily, follow CDC guidelinesExperience:Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
