Job Description : QualificationsPassed the background checkKnowledge of pet handling and careInterpersonal skillsInitiative to take control while working independentlyDemonstrates concern for satisfying external customersMUST be comfortable with on-call serviceMUST be available between 11 AM to 2 PM and/or weekendMUST live in the area or within 10 milesMUST have a vehicle and driveMUST be over 21 years oldTravelThis job requires 100% local auto travel. Candidates will travel to clients homes to perform work. All efforts will be made to keep travel within 10-15 miles or less from the candidate’s home address. However, some additional travel may be required.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a candidate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and crawling all day. At times the candidate will be required to walk on the uneven pavement, snow and ice-covered walkways and go up and down multiple flights of stairs.
