What you’ll be doing…
The work you’ll be doing will help ensure that software solutions work as expected and meet the requirements of their users. You will be working with colleagues across IT to improve designs, identify performance constraints, resolve complex system issues and communicate required changes. The solutions you help implement will help meet our customer’s needs and make it easy for them to do business with us.
As a Engr III Cslt-Quality Asrn, you will be responsible for analysing the requirements, assessing test coverage required, defining and executing test scenarios and delivering a high quality product. You will apply automation techniques to deliver faster test results and enable faster to market of respective Verizon programs.
Working with a team of quality engineers and with partners like Developers, SME, Architects and Business Analysts on the test activities and deliverables.
Owning and delivering modules of programs independently.
Contributing towards automation/framework using standard test automation tools for the respective area of work – TOSCA and Selenium.
In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Fouror more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with automation tools, developing software test plans, managing defects lifecycle using standard tools.
Knowledge of Tosca Automation, Selenium suite of tools like Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium Grid and Selenium WebDriver.
Experience of Test Automation Framework implementation.
Knowledge of Java Programming concepts like file handling, exception handling, database operations and OOPS concepts.
Experience in creating and execute the test cases using Selenium WebDriver and IDE.
Even better if you:
A degree.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Experience working in Agile/SAFe teams.
Ability to adopt an automation first approach and execute the automation test strategies.
Collaboration skills to manage the peers, partners and other stakeholders.
