Position : Exceptional House Manager/Personal Assistant
Job Description : Seeking a seasoned and exceptional House Manager/Family Personal Assistant for a family of five, including 3 children ages 5-12 and a small dog. The current household staff consists of 2 full-time housekeepers, a full- time cook/housekeeper, a part-time weekend housekeeper and a part-time chef. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Hours are typically 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will not only be an experienced house manager but be able to appropriately represent the family.Required skills and experience:Minimum of two years’ experience as a house managerExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability lead and manage the household staffStrong detail orientation with a proactive approach to the positionSuperb time management, problem-solving, research and organizational skillsKnowledge of household safety practicesFinancial management skills for household budgets, including computer proficiencyEmphasis on health and wellnessCollege degreeFluency in Spanish a mustExcellent driving record with a current driver’s license and own automobileCurrent passport and ability to travel internationally, if neededDiscretion and confidentiality a mustResponsibilities:Oversight and management of the household staffEnsure all household standards are maintained and staff duties are completedRecruit, train and evaluate staff performanceMaintain and update household manual, including service standardsHousehold Management of multiple properties, including guest house, vacation home and an apartmentManage maintenance scheduleManage all service providers, including service contractsArrange for all household repairs on a timely basisCoordinates automobile maintenanceProcurement of household goods, including groceriesExpense control and accounting for household budgetsMaintain and reconcile petty cash and credit card receiptsAdministrative and ConciergePersonal shoppingOrganize and oversee family events and partiesLiaison for all family service providersPlan travel for the family, relatives and occasional guests or employeesBook restaurants and eventsAssist principal with administrative tasks in his business, as neededAssist with the children, on occasion as needed (typically driving)The ideal candidate is an experienced, results-oriented team player who is looking for a long-term position with a family.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:similar: 2 years (Required)Language:Spanish Fluently (Required)Work Location: One location
