ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the design, development, and evaluation of new and existing products design and manufacturing drawing creationsUse Creo 3D software to design, evaluate, and archive product documentationReview design specifications and requirements under direction, develop designs to best support them including
cost as a key design variableAssist in the evaluation and troubleshooting of product design and detailingDevelop bill of materials, routers, and costing analysis, as neededWork with domestic and international factories to develop and supportUpdate engineering manager with regular reporting of progress and status
EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, preferredExperience with mechanical design using metals, plastics…etcWorks independently and with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational and communication skills
