Job Description : Position SummaryThe Human Resources Coordinator will provide support to the HR Team by focusing on processing and onboarding new hires, personnel files/record compliance and basic employee relations triage and escalation. The incumbent will be required to exhibit a strong sense of urgency, ensuring that the company is in compliance with applicable employment law practices. Additionally, the role will engage in collaboration with Restaurant Management to ensure efficiency through the payroll database.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for practicing and maintaining a high level of confidentiality.Maintain personnel files, ensuring accuracy, for new hire paperwork, training, terminations and other related personal information on employees.Efficiently scan all personnel documents into the database, preparing for upload into ADP.Order business cards for Managers by request.Ensure federal mandated posters are up-to-date by location.Update personnel records utilizing our payroll database.Responsible for record retention and compliance of files, I-9s and other documents as requiredAssist with routine personnel questions related to payroll, benefits, personnel policies and employment opportunities.Mail out necessary documents/items as requested by the HR team.Responsible for processing New hires through E-Verify in applicable states.Communicate with individual locations to resolve missing information or issues.Responsible for archiving terminated employee files weekly.Assist with the preparation of weekly payroll.Reconciling monthly billing.Generating and communicating weekly labor reports.Assist the HR team as neededHandle other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).Bilingual in English and Spanish is a highly preferred skill for the positionOne or more years of Human Resources experience.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, OutlookKnowledge of ADPFamiliarity with the restaurant industry is preferred, but not required.Physical RequirementsSubstantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.Ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms while balancing items.Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 20 pounds without issue.This position is considered full-time non-exempt level status. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.Typically sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.Ability to sustain prolonged use of a Computer.
