If you share our passion for creating an airline people love, we want to hear from you.Role SummaryThe Human Resources Specialist performs a wide range of personnel duties within a procedural framework set by the Human Resources Department. The Specialist will emphasize recruiting ;research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The Specialist will also actively participate, engage, and support all HR functions to include data input, personnel interactions ,benefit administration and UKG Training support.Key DutiesActively identify and interface with Leadership on recruitment needs, receiving, reviewing, screening, interviewing, hiring potential employees. Identify recruitment sources and advise management on appropriate recruitment and staffing methods.Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.Collaborates, with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.Create and publish job ads in various recruitment portals and maintain connection with external recruitment resources.Connect with potential candidates online and offline, screen applications and support hiring managers.Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.Initiates and assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.Provide technical advice in subject matter area to employees, management, and applicants both within and outside of Everts Air.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.Conduct new employee HR onboarding ensuring all recruits complete orientation prior to their start date or are accommodated on site prior to start date to utilize. Facilitate HR Orientation on start date as requiredAssist with HRIS system maintenance, data input, and data integrity. Accurately organize and file HR related paperwork to appropriate files.Conduct employee timeclock and other UKG training as required.Process HR related paperwork to include CSED deduction orders, payroll deductions, payroll changes and any other HR related forms.Assist with the maintenance of all mandated HR Postings as well as update local boards ensuring that all postings are presented in a professional and eye-catching format and are timely posted and removed.Support employees in all locations and be prepared to travel to each facility as required.Ensure all employees are current on HR ATMS Training.Assist all Department Leadership in developing and maintaining current Work Instructions, and Department Indoctrination documentation.Participate in the Company newsletter by submitting articles to the Senior HR Manager for inclusion.
