Job Description : Position OverviewProvides technology solutions as part of the information technology development team. This role develops, enhances, tests, and maintains various applications within the Microsoft platform of products and insurance industry systems, specifically around our core systems. This role will work within a team to develop and deploy software systems to meet the requirements of various business users and provide support for existing systems.Essential Job Functions1. Participate in the development of major enhancements and maintenance of a Property and Casualty company’s core systems including Policy Administration, Billing / Commission, Reinsurance, Document Management, Claims systems, and Intranet.2. Adhere to best practices for process, procedures around architecture, documentation and source management.3. Implement solutions based on technical specifications for internally developed and outsourced projects.4. Work under the guidance of a project manager and technical lead to Develop (code) software from technical specifications.5. Perform unit integration, user, and regression testing of internally and outsourced developed applications.6.
