Position : Medical Office Manager
Job Description : We are looking for an Office manager to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. Office manager duties and responsibilities include billing for the practice, obtaining authorizations for administered medications and ensure prompt delivery of such, scheduling appointments, making office supplies arrangements, greeting visitors and providing general administrative support to our employees. Previous experience as a Front office manager or Office administrator would be an advantage. Ultimately, the Office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.ResponsibilitiesServe as the point person for office manager duties including: maintenance, scheduling, prior authorizations, ordering of supplies supplies, bills and billingSchedule meetings and appointmentsMaintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairsEnsure that all items are invoiced and paid on timeManage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and insurance companiesProvide general support to visitorsAssist in the onboarding process for new hiresAddress employees queries regarding office management issuesLiaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, pharmaceutical companies, etc.SkillsProven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistantKnowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and proceduresProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)Familiarity with scheduling toolsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environmentA creative mind with an ability to suggest improvementsKnowledge of insurance companies and authorization proceduresHigh School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $25,855.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offMedical Specialty:NeurologySchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Management: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
