Position : Medical Receptionist – Will Train – 5 day Mon – Fri workweek – 8 hour shifts
Job Description : Spokane Eye Clinic is hiring full-time Registration Staff – No Prior Experience Required and No Weekends!
We are celebrating more than 65 successful years of excellent eye care and surgical eye procedures for our patients in our four Spokane locations and want to add to our team! Upon hire we train team members to set-up patient accounts, check for insurance eligibility, determine referral/authorization obtainment, collect payments and schedule appointments. Those with experience utilizing a patient database system would do well in this position. Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Shifts are 8 hours with an hour lunch.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, professional attitude, reliable
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Ability to communicate in an active multi-office environment, effectively coping with the typical job stress, and communicate effectively
Ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions
Ability to relate to persons with diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Successfully manage interactions with challenging or difficult people
Reliable transportation is a must as team members rotate between each of our 4 clinics and have rotating start times with shifts between 6:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Minimum requirement: High School Diploma (or GED), Type 40+ wpm
Wage: $17.00 to DOE
