Job Description : Midwestern Construction focuses on right of way maintenance for the Florida Department of Transportation. We are looking for a office assistant to perform the following duties:Daily· Answer incoming calls· Collect and enter time into time log· Collect and process receipts / check for errors· Update equipment log and schedule equipment maintenance· Equipment check out and in· Provide and collect at the end of the day fuel cards, phones, keys, and credit cards· Create reports for fuel / credit card spending per card· Receive and process site reports· Create work orders from field reports· Employee and equipment scheduling· Update daily job reports for work completed· Assist coordinators / inspectors with locating materials, subcontractors, send paperwork in· Make hotel reservations as needed· Clean up your work area and take out trashWeekly· Inspect equipment in the field thru Robert· Maintain and schedule education classes / certifications· Create and maintain equipment operator certifications· Create and maintain safety program· Release paychecks at the end of the week once equipment has been returned· Update inventory· Return unused materials to suppliers· Organize shop supplies· Create and update shop inventory or equipment filters and fluids· Send filters as needed with crews for replacement· Maintain phone records and update applications· Tracking system for equipmentKnowledge of Microsoft office and a good driving record are required since you may occasionally need to go to job sites. We are looking for someone who is dependable and very organized. We offer health insurance, and holiday pay.
